Been reading through the net, found myself something interesting arts about the former champion Tiger Woods. It's interesting to see how much his position and game has decrease along these last tournaments. The reasons involved are many, but are his own reasons after all.
People use to think about superstar players as divine gods and powerful entities around the globe, above other humans. It's true that they converge in some kind of athletic physical superiority and skill that not all the persons acquire on their entire life (mostly due to other interest or simple laziness). Maybe this was the reason that the gods of ancient times are still mentioned even today; who could say that Zeus wasn't a great pitcher on his own way and throwing the ball so fast and hard that it was considered a lightning bolt pitch or imagine that Hermes run so fast that he could run lots of yards and make touchdowns as easily as the best football player at the present times. Like those "gods" before, players of today are revered and recognized in so many ways that their lives are recorded since their raise to the heavens thru their fall in the abyss if they just flaw once.
For the legendary Tiger Woods; things like this are happening right now. He started, he raised and became a god, was worshipped and now has fallen from grace and dwelling in a sea of bad moments. After the release of the Official Golf Ranking, we noticed how his rank dropped to the 53rd place at the 2011 PGA Tour Season, after seen these results, theories of his end as a promising player have overflowed the web.
While its true that Woods looks tired, and lacking confidence, it's clear that his descend to the pit is due of many of the layoffs provoked by the many injuries and personal problems he has; its true, this may also affect his game but he is human after all and the many worries could distract him of his goals, and some people still forgets that. These darker times for the Tiger wont last too much, he will be back for sure and he may surprise us this week during the Frys games. He is one of the great golfers on history ever, so recovering his position in the top10 won't be that hard.
Definitely is not the lack of talent or skill, Woods still has age for the game, maybe he is not a youngster like Mclroy kid, but he is not older as Nicklaus, so the Tiger still has potency to give the fight.
